Rich Rose is the founder of Revelry. He’s got a diverse background the automotive industry, particularly within motorsports safety equipment and race event operations, and he enjoys sharing insight, advice, and now products to improve high-performance vehicles for friends and customers alike.
His journey began at Laguna Seca in 1994, witnessing Mario Andretti’s last full-time race (in CART) before retiring. This sparked a profound passion IndyCar and F1 racing, where he developed a foundational understanding of the technical nuances and competitive spirit that define motorsport. His desire for further involvement led to him joining the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) San Francisco Region, where he worked race events sanctioned by CART, Champ Car World Series, Indy Racing League, Toyota Atlantics, Grand Am, Indy Lights, NASA and American Le Mans Series and more. He later went to went to work for the American importer of Bieffe Italian helmets, regularly promoting safety products at Performance Racing Indianapolis (PRI) and the Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association (SEMA) Vegas shows. Rich became freelance journalist for Open Wheel World primarily reporting on CART/IRL in the early 2000s before transitioning into a different career area and making motosports exclusively a hobby. He has competed in regional level off-road motorcycling, karting, enjoys HPDE days with Caillac V-Club friends, has participated in competetive sim-racing in his local community, and took a podium finish in class at the Silver State Classic Challenge open road race in Nevada.
Rich continues to suppport karters, motorcrossers, road racers and more through his Amsoil Dealership (started in 1995) and furthers his motorsports passion flogging the company Cadillac while exploring concepts for future Revelry Racing products.
